The PT Calculator
Version History

Version 1.0 to 1.3
Individual

The PT Calculator from version 1.0 to 1.3 was all the same layout and design. The differences between the versions were minor calculation errors that were noted by users. One of the biggest errors was in the Female 60+ category, the time limit for the run only allowed up to 16 minutes in the drop down box.

These versions also did not include any exemptions. These versions were created before the new rules went into place so it was more or less a beta version. Most of the kinks have been worked out as there have not been any emails of late indicating any errors in the calculation.

Version 2.0 and 2.1

The 2nd version was completely re-written so that it only had one page to enter your components on. Things that were fixed in version 2.0

- Added exemptions
- Erased AFI 10-248 scores
- Fixed Pushup table (an entry of 70 was miscalculating the total points)

Version 2.3

- Updated scoring charts to reflect below minimum component scores. Anything below the minimum will now be a zero in regards to points.
- Added another block below the computed score to show when you will test (6 months or 1 year)

Version 2.4

- Fixed Walk error.
- Added custom table so users can enter their own values. I was getting a lot of requests from people that wanted to create their own tables.
- Added a section so users can toggle their own minimum conditional formats.

UFPM

The Unit Fitness Program Manager's Calculator was created as a request from a user (Jessie Johnston). It began with a version number of 1.4 because initially it was going to be lumped in with the PT Calculator but later it became it's own. Here are the changes that have been made.

Version 1.4

- Initial release of 'Old and New Standards' sheet. Allows UFPM's to track multiple people. Also includes exemptions

Version 1.4.1

- Added pass/fail display box at top of screen
- Added minimum compenent failures display box at the top of screen
- Corrected some misspelt wurdz
- Corrected calculation for new fitness standards. Waist measurment points was throwing some scores off
- Inserted freeze panes for the header row

Version 2.0

- Removed all AFI 10-248 standards from the calculator (the Old in the 'Old and New Standards')
- Added a Date Due column for Excellent, Satisfactory and Failure categories

Version 2.3

- UFPM is now completely open source. All the passwords have been removed on the spreadsheets so members can alter the UFPM to their own style.
